The Rasheed Wallaces of the BCBL are off to another slow start. Despite several strong roster additions, the Bears are 0-2 after losing a close game to the Stallions and getting boat raced by the Breakers. If history is any predictor, the Bears will go 0-5 before showing any signs of life, at which point they'll power through the playoffs and into a heavily inebriated night with the Ypma Cup.
Early injuries have also hampered the Bears, as Ryan Speelman pulled his groin one too many times and Coach Sutherland tore his calf muscle while trying to throw a dumpster over a house in New Orleans.
